A message from Alumknits Founder
Having returned energized from a college reunion where fellow alumnae expressed an interest in my hand-knit sweater, which proudly bears the “Smith” name front and center and my class year “93” on the sleeve, I realized there is market for high-quality, collectable sweaters for Smithies to wear their pride. Marrying my love of Smith and passion for entrepreneurship, Alumknits was born.
At Alumknits, we’ve paired with other female-owned businesses to ensure that all of our sweaters are ethically produced and sustainably manufactured in the most comfortable of knits. Our sweaters are original designs and are meant to be treasured, worn for years to come, and enjoyed for generations.
